Rockstar Mayhem Festival Route

The 7th annual Rockstar Mayhem Festival  is set to kick off this summer in San Bernardino, CA on July 5th. The festival, created by Vans Warped Tour Founder Kevin Lyman, will run through the summer. The official lineup is set to be released on March 31. Previous bands that have graced the stages of the festival include Rob Zombie, Five Finger Death Punch, Slipknot, Slayer, Motorhead and more. Sonisphere 2014 Lineup Expands

The British music festival, Sonisphere, has recently announced several additions to its lineup for the upcoming July 4-6 event in Knewbworth Park, England. Slayer To Hold Memorial Event For Jeff Hanneman

Last week, founding member and guitarist for the American metal band Slayer, Jeff Hanneman, passed away due to liver failure at the age of 49. The surviving band members have stated that there will be a celebration in honor of Hanneman later this month. Slayer Guitarist Jeff Hanneman Dies At 49

Slayer guitarist Jeff Hanneman passed away yesterday of liver failure after contracting a rare skin-tissue disease two years ago. Our condolences go out to the Hanneman family.
