McDowell Mountain Music Festival Announce 2017 Lineup

The Shins, who were on the bill in 2013, will return to the stage of Margaret T. Hance Park in downtown Phoenix for the 14th annual McDowell Mountain Music Festival. Also on the bill will be Chromeo, Flume and Grouplove. Arizona’s only 100 percent non-profit music festival brings an eclectic assortment of artists to Phoenix Friday, March 3-Sunday, March 5. Third Man Records To Release The Shins & The Kills Live Albums

Jack White’s record label, Third Man Records, will be releasing three live 12″ LPs; The Shins, The Kills, and Seasick Steve on June 25. The albums are a part of an ongoing series of live albums that were recorded at the Nashville record store and venue. Other artists that have been featured in this series include The Black Lips, Ted Leo, Conan O’Brien, Jenny Lewis and Johnathan Rice, Jack White himself, and a recording of Divine Fits is set for the near future.
