WATCH: The War on Drugs Live Performance on Ellen

Earlier this week, Philadelphia band The War on Drugs performed on The Ellen Degeneres Show, playing “Red Eyes” and “Under the Pressure.” Both of these songs are off of the band’s 2014 album Lost in the Dream via Secretly Canadian. WATCH: Restorations Release Music Video For “Separate Songs” & Two Other Announcements

Restorations made three big announcements on Tuesday. They released the music video for “Separate Songs” from LP3, their third full length album. Which leads to the second announcement: The album will be released on October 28 via OneSideDummy Records. They recorded the project with close friend Jonathan Low (the National, Modern Baseball, the War On Drugs, the Menzingers) at Miner Street Studio. The National To Release Grateful Dead Tribute Album

To a new generation of Deadheads. The National has announced that they will be releasing a tribute album to the Grateful Dead sometime in 2014. Vampire Weekend, Bon Iver, Kurt Vile, and The War On Drugs are all signed up to take part in the compilation, which will donate proceeds to the AIDS non-profit, Red Hot Organization.
