LIVE REVIEW: FYF – Los Angeles

What started out in 2004 as a punk-rock festival at The Echo, 18-year-old music promoter Sean Carlson, created “F Yeah Fest,” which was eventually moved to the L.A. Historic Park and re-named FYF. Last year, Carlson celebrated the 10-year anniversary, and this year has moved the festival to the Los Angeles Sports Arena & Exposition Park at University of Southern California (USC’s) Coliseum. STREAM: Lorde “Team” Video

Lorde has released the video for her newest single, “Team.”  The video was directed by Young Replicant, of The xx, in Brooklyn’s Red Hook district and features a society of outcast teenagers living in abandoned wear-houses. Lorde explained in a Facebook post that she got the concept for the video from a dream. “Team” is the second single, following “Royals,” from Lorde’s debut LP, Pure Heroine, which was produced by Joel Little and released via Universal. Jack White’s Third Man Records Set To Release ‘The Great Gatsby’ Soundtrack On Vinyl

Jack White’s label, Third Man Records is slated to release The Great Gatsby soundtrack on vinyl in May. The deluxe vinyl edition will  have 17 tracks (three additional songs than the CD version) and be bound in gatefold artwork.
