Red Fang Announce ‘Whales And Leeches’ Details

Red Fang have released some new details about their new upcoming album titled Whales And Leeches. The album is set to come out in October on Relapse Records, and is being worked on with previous collaborators Chris Funk (The Decemberists) as producer and Vance Powell (Kings Of Leon, The White Stripes)  as mixing engineer. The White Stripes Announce ‘Nine Miles From The White City’ Live Album

The White Stripes have confirmed that they will be releasing a live album titled Nine Miles From The White City to celebrate 10 years since the release of Elephant in 2003. The album was recorded at Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom in 2003, and it will be released via Third Man Records vault as a double vinyl. White Stripes, Green Day, LCD Soundsystem Among Rolling Stone’s “New Immortals” List

  Back in the early 2000’s Rolling Stone compiled a list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time whom they dubbed “The Immortals”.  A new “Immortal” list was created on the magazine’s web-site consisting of 14  current (and recently defunct) acts.  Green Day, LCD Soundsystem and The White Stripes were included along with the other artists such as Kanye West, Wilco and the Roots.  Check out the full list here.
