Outside Lands Releases 2015 Lineup

Spring has sprung again, and thus Outside Lands has released its 2015 lineup. The 3-day festival will take place August 7-9th in San Francisco’s beautiful Golden Gate Park. This year boasts a headlining group of Elton John, Mumford & Sons, The Black Keys, Sam Smith, Kendrick Lamar, and Wilco. Yoko Ono Announces New Album

Yoko Ono has announced that she will release a new EP with the Plastic Ono Band entitled Take Me To The Land Of Hell. The album is due out September 17 via Chimera. Her album will feature the TuNeYaRdS, Wilco’s Nels Cline, ?uestlove and Beastie Boys Remixes. Wilco’s Glenn Kotche Plays Faucets In TV Commercial

In a new ad for the company Delta Faucet, Wilco’s drummer shows off the company’s new “Touch2O” faucet technology. The video features Glenn Kotche performing a cover of The Four Tops’ “Reach Out, I’ll Be There,” and highlights the fact that these faucets can be turned off and on by basically, reaching out (pun intended), and touching them anywhere. White Stripes, Green Day, LCD Soundsystem Among Rolling Stone’s “New Immortals” List

  Back in the early 2000’s Rolling Stone compiled a list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time whom they dubbed “The Immortals”.  A new “Immortal” list was created on the magazine’s web-site consisting of 14  current (and recently defunct) acts.  Green Day, LCD Soundsystem and The White Stripes were included along with the other artists such as Kanye West, Wilco and the Roots.  Check out the full list here.
