Arcade Fire’s Win Butler Responds To “We Exist” Music Video Criticism

Earlier this month, Arcade Fire released their music video to “We Exist” in which Andrew Garfield, star of “The Amazing Spider-Man” franchise, portrays the character of a young person struggling with gender identity. Via Twitter, Against Me! founder Laura Jane Grace criticized the band’s decision to cast Andrew Garfield instead of a transgender person for the role in the music video. WATCH: Arcade Fire’s ‘Tonight Show’ Performance

Arcade Fire was among the first guests of Jimmy Fallon’s new show, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The band performed “Afterlife” off of last year’s album Reflektor. The segment began with frontman Win Butler filming the band selfie-style and ended with him singing from the crowd. Check out the performance below, after the jump. Arcade Fire’s Win Butler To Perform With The Rolling Stones

The Rolling Stones announced earlier today on Twitter that Win Butler of Arcade Fire will be performing with them for their concert at Montreal’s Bell Centre. This will not mark the first time Arcade Fire and The Rolling Stones have worked together.
