Outside Lands 2013 Lineup Announced Today

The lineup for the 2013 Outside Lands Music Festival has just been released today! Outside Lands will be held on August 9-11 this year in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, and there are a plethora of big names in music on the bill including Paul McCartney, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nine Inch Nails, Phoenix, Vampire Weekend, The National, Band of Horses, and many more. Yeah Yeah Yeahs to Release New Album, “Mosquito”

After months of rumors, Yeah Yeah Yeahs will release their 4th album entitled Mosquito, in April.   The new set will be the band’s first since 2009’s It’s Blitz and is produced by TV on the Radio’s Dave Sitek and Nick Launay.   Regarding the new album, vocalist Karen O offered these thoughts: ” SO much feeling went into this record, it was the rope ladder thrown down into the ditch for us to climb up and dust ourselves off. New Yeah Yeah Yeahs Album in 2013?

  Stereoboard is reporting that the Yeah Yeah Yeahs will release their 4th full-length sometime next year according Los Angeles radio host Jason Bentley.  The new album will the follow-up to 2009’s It’s Blitz!  At one point LCD Soundsystem mastermind James Murphy was believed to be producing the new album, but that was never the case.  Murphy admitted to the Huffington Post that he’s worked with the band, but I it was, “nothing really big; I don’t have time and they don’t have time.
