Taylor Swift Kicks Off 1989 World Tour in Tokyo

Taylor-Swift-1989-300x300Last night (well, last night for those of us on this half of the world), Taylor Swift kicked off The 1989 World Tour at the Tokyo Dome in Japan. It’s likely that nearly everyone has to know at least one T-Swift song, so it seems safe to say that her setlist would be nothing but her best hits–however, that’s not what she did. Check out the entire setlist after the jump.

Swift instead performed every single song off her latest album 1989 (including bonus tracks) and only performed three of her older songs, including “I Knew You Were Trouble,” “Love Story,” and a new and enchanting version of “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” all which signaled her transition to pop music. It seems as though her country days are far behind her!

For highlights from last night’s performance, watch the videos below or check them out here!
