This week we began our tour with Hail The Sun, Capsize, and Limbs with a nice long drive from Salt Lake City to Fresno for the kick off. We’ve played Strummers a handful of times and it has always been a great time, this kick off was no different.
Throughout the week we’ve made some incredibly long drives to play some of the best small club shows we’ve ever done. With more and more people singing the words to our songs these shows just get better and better. We’ve toured with Hail The Sun before, and used to be labelmates, so we were already close with them when this tour started. The guys in Limbs and Capsize have been incredibly nice to us and they absolutely slay every night.
Texas really came out, as per usual. San Antonio and Houston really showed every band some love. Although we’re only a week in, this is shaping up to be one of my favorite lineups we’ve ever been apart of. There’s a lot of diversity in the sound, while all still in the relative post-hardcore realm.
For the audience, this is a truly inspiring experience, a show you cannot miss. Looking forward to the next week in the South and ready to make our way up to the east coast for more fun times.
