Music is supposed to bring people together in many ways, and this was very apparent with the various tragedies that occurred in Orlando, Florida. From the fatal shooting of singer Christina Grimme to the mass shooting at Pulse, these victims were brought together in enjoying something they loved before their deaths, and the nation and music scene has taken a toll in their mourning.
Not only are victim’s families supporting the cause, many bands are putting proceeds towards the families and victims of the mass shooting at Pulse nightclub. Many artists spread their support over social media but some have gone the extra mile. Merch items from various bands have been created to sell and send the proceeds to the Pulse Victims Fund, to help those involved in the shooting, who have lost family members and loved ones and the entire LGBTQ community. Some of the artists supporting this cause include Beartooth, Crown The Empire,PVRIS, Panic! At The Disco, and Andy Black, who auctioned an item at a live show. Also, huge industry magazine, Alternative Press announced a shirt to benefit the Pulse Victims Fund and you can purchase one here or support TWLOHA and their efforts to give back to the community with their shirt here!
