“These walls are closing in on me, while I’m just trying to get some sleep, these days are like a bad dream, won’t someone please come and wake me,” the band sing with an angsty demeanor reminiscent of bands like Neck Deep and State Champs.

Vocalist and guitarist Dylan Frederick described the song as having several different interpretations.

“When Aaron and I first presented it to the guys, we knew there was something special about it. It’s one of our darker songs but it gives you that sense of comfort and most people will probably relate to it,” Frederick said.

The band formed in January 2017 and are already opening up for bands such as Broadside and Gold Steps. 5 Year Plan are looking to release their debut EP later this fall through Wilhelm Records. In the meantime, you can check out a list of upcoming shows below buy concert tickets here.
