Massachusetts based Bleacher Days released a music video for their song “Some Strain Of You.” The track is off the band’s recent EP, I Only Saw True Purpose.

For the video, the band and their friend Dan Fried (Just Fly Casual) had the idea to record the group hanging around some cool spots. Naturally, they chose a few scenic spots throughout Massachusetts.

According to vocalist Wren Mohammed, the song details “the moment you realize future plans you may have envisioned with someone simply aren’t gonna go the way you planned.”

It is also a criticism for using substances and other forms of escapism. “Those things, though they may numb the pain, are simply not healthy for you in such large and frequent doses. You’ve got to rid yourself of bad habits for yourself, and no one else,” Mohammed continued.

You’ve become another substance that I abuse. Line my brain with eyes beneath the pale moon. Every dream I’ve ever had was laced with some strain of you. I’ll get clean if you want me to,” the bank sing alongside their heavy drum beats and classic pop punk riffs.

Bleacher Days are hitting the road this December with Riviera, as they embark through the midwest and east coast. Check out a full list of tour dates, below.
