Demi Lovato has always been a huge supporter of LGBT rights. She filmed her music video for “I Really Don’t Care” at Los Angeles Pride, and was grand marshall of the parade. She is now taking her support further by being the first celebrity involved in the new HRC (Human Rights Campaign) campaign, Americans For Marriage Equality.

Support for marriage equality has increased in the last couple of years. Over 50% of people who took a ABC News/Washington Post survey support it, and when only polling 30 year olds and younger, that number shoots up to over 70%. In the 45 second video, Lovato says, “I believe that love comes in all different shapes, sizes and colors, so whether you’re LGBT or straight, your love is valid, beautiful and an incredible gift. …Please join me in supporting the majority of Americans who support marriage equality.”
