CimB-UyUYAAqAUICanadian four-piece, Marianas Trench, are returning to the U.S. on a massive tour this summer! After touring extensively for months this spring, spending much of February and March across America and back home in Canada, the guys are doing it all over again. While spending a few months traveling internationally in France, U.K and Germany this summer, Marianas Trench have announced the SPF 80’s tour back in the U.S starting on July 8th.

Marianas Trench released their fourth album, Astoria, earlier this year in October and have been gaining a huge fanbase all over the globe. From the emotional story reflected, the album has shown greatly in the bands’ legacy, as it powerfully reflects on front man Josh Ramsay‘s own personal journey that took him from the highest high to the darkest point in his life and career.

The band premiered a brand new music video for the song “This Means War” from Astoria alongside the hype of the tour news. The video premiered on both MUCH music and Vevo this morning on May 20th, and encaptures the conflict and ups and downs of a relationship that is portrayed in much of the story of the album. The video itself is very colorful, with the usage of bright paint, comic book styled edits and color dust it brings a unique feel to the video and something visually striking.

Make sure to check out “This Means War” video and tour dates below the jump and get tickets to the SPF 80’s tour here or a purchase a cd here!
