WATCH: The 1975 “Somebody Else” Music Video

The 1975 NEWThe world’s most mysterious band, The 1975, released a music video for their song “Somebody Else.”

The video is confusing, to say the least. The 1975 frontman, Matt Healy, enters a room and goes about his daily routine alongside a seemingly dead body hunched over on a couch. An unseen crowd oo’s and ah’s in the background as Healy gets dressed. Maybe the sounds are the protagonist’s own thoughts?

And then, the real music video starts. Healy walks around town, basking in his own self-pity, before having a bit too much too drink and engaging in a few acts me might regret later. What happens next is totally unexpected.

Check out the music video, below, and let us know what you think of it in the comments section.

“Somebody Else” is off the band’s latest album, I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it. To hear more from The 1956, you can purchase a CD here. The band is currently on tour in Europe. To see them live, you can buy concert tickets here.
