WATCH: The Drama State Cover Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself”

The Drama State - Screen Shot

The Drama State have released a very unlikely new cover – “Love Yourself,” performed by Justin Bieber. Complete with a brief guitar solo, The Drama State’s rendition is a true cover – transforming the stripped pop hit into a pop punk anthem for the ages.

Singer Ryan Diskey tells Infectious, Ronnie [Ish] was the first one to hear the song, and he asked us all one day when we were doing some writing for the new record if we wanted to hear a song. He didn’t say it was going to be a Justin Bieber song but he encouraged us to give it a shot and really listen to the lyrics. That’s what really connected me, and the rest of the guys, to the song.”
