WATCH: Tom DeLonge “Circle-Jerk Pit” Music Video / Contest (You Might Even Win A Pro-Board)

11149480_909986232357050_3133773233156110565_nThe now infamous Tom DeLonge began streaming his album on Youtube yesterday. If somehow you aren’t familiar with him (you’re reading this site so I’m not sure how that’s the case), there was a huge blowout between him and the other two members of Blink-182 that I’m still not sure is resolved.

Well, today, Tuesday, DeLonge released the music video for his song, “Circle-Jerk Pit.” The music video feels very Venice California (since he’s from San Diego I’m probably not far off). It’s set in a skateboard park with lots of drinking and just generally messing around. It feels very, college-kids-on-summer-vacation. Very cool vibe, especially given the fact that there are only a few more weeks till many 20-somethings will be recreating this scene in their local skate park.

For this video, DeLonge did it right. He enlisted the help from skateboard teams, Tum Yeto, Toy Machine, and Foundation Skateboards as well as pros: Billy Marks, Matt Bennett, Ryan Spencer, Nick Merlino, and Am Skater – Cole Wilson, just to name a few.

The best part of this music video? There is a contest to go along with it. The prizes include pro-boards from the skateboarders as well as a copy of the album, To The Stars.. Demos, Odds and Ends.

Check out the video below as well as how you can win these awesome prizes below!

You can purchase a CD or buy concert tickets here.

Contest entries:

Submit an instagram video with the hashtag #ourcjp. Like in the music video, it’s just about having fun with your friends (keep it PG, people). The guidelines are pretty loose, so just have fun. Also they give a disclaimer summed up, if you do anything dangerous, it’s all on you, they aren’t condoning it.

The contest will run through next week and they will chose the main winners from the amount of likes their submission receives as well as a few submissions that they just really love. So, start submitting!
