WATCH: YouTuber Arganalth Re-Creates “Smells Like Teen Spirit” With Hard Drives and Floppy Disks

ArganalthIt takes a certain skill set to play a song on an instrument, or sing it. But to recreate it on an entirely different medium? That takes a lot of time and patience.

This is what YouTuber Arganalth does, creating renditions of hit songs using only hard drives and floppy disks. He recently posted a version of Nirvana classic “Smells Like Teen Spirit” gone completely computerized.

It is a strange, but awesome sensation to watch: it sounds a lot like the song, and Arganalth may be on to something. Computers may very well be part of every band’s rotation soon enough. Check out the video after the jump!
