Thrice and Circa Survive did a co-headliner this year that was unmatched. If you missed it, you missed out.

March of Madness Tour featuring Memphis May Fire, blessthefall, The Color Morale, Sylar, and Bad Seed Rising. It’s rare enough to find a tour that has a quality headliner with two to three decent support acts, let alone a lineup that is completely stacked. Luckily, the March of Madness Tour arrived. Though it was Memphis May Fire’s headlining run, every band on the bill offered terrific performances. blessthefall were energetic and spot on, The Color Morale brought passion to the stage, Sylar provided unique nü-metal inspired tunes, and Bad Seed Rising provided a healthy dose of girl power. It was a rare occurrence where every performer satisfied me, and the pacing was perfect. It was fun to be surrounded by bands I enjoyed. As a concertgoer, it doesn’t get much better than experiencing a lineup that has no weak spots.

The coolest tour from the past year in my opinion was definitely Thrice, Circa Survive, and Chon. Definitely one of the coolest bills in a long time. That or Rise Against, Deftones, and Thrice.

I think the most fun I had at any show this year was when I saw Ninja Sex Party, Starbomb, and TWRP on the Rock Hard Tour. All three of these bands have something unique to offer. They are all incredible musicians and even better showmen! And if you have never listened to Dan Avidan sing, whether it be in a comedic form or doing covers of classics, do it immediately! You’re in for an absolute treat!
