Indie pop artist, Gold Man, is on the fast track to the top. With a musical style reminiscent of John Mayer and James Blunt, the Los Angeles-based solo project has been making waves with his acoustic musings and passionate singalongs.
Today, we are excited to bring you Gold Man’s first single off his upcoming album Maybe Being Me Is Just Enough. Gold Man’s previous beachy vibe is being replaced by a more mellow, funky sound, and it is no more evident than in new song, “Play The Fool.”
The single is a sultry song about a love gone wrong. The melodies, vocals and instruments go together so well, making it an easy listen that will immediately get stuck in your head.
“It appears that you have conquered me, got this stagnant king surrounded with no queen,” Gold Man sings. “But nothing is permanent and all that time you spent spreading your love out all over town has brought the net worth of your lovin’ down.”
