STREAM: Belle and Sebastian “Paper Boat”

Belle-SebastianEarlier this week, former Belle and Sebastian member and co-founder, Stuart David, shared a previously unreleased track by the band titled “Paper Boat”. Recorded in 1998, David has strategically released the track in expectancy for his memoir about the band’s early days titled, In The All-Night Café, which will hit shelves May 1st through Chicago Free Press. You can preorder it here.

Accompanying the track is a video directed by Belle and Sebastian collaborator, former music video director, and wife of Stuart David, Karn David, who has compiled vacation footage of the band in 1998. Currently Karn and Stuart David play in their band Looper, which formed in 1998 and has been playing since then. Belle and Sebastian are currently on an international tour, through September, in conjunction with their January release Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance.
