WATCH: Versus Me “(A) Tension” Music Video

I’ve never been a metal fan. I spent years willing myself to “just like it” and “stop worrying so much about the lyrics” but it never worked. Earlier this week, I finally discovered my love for metal through metalcore band, Versus Me. And, to my surprise, I didn’t have to sacrifice my need for powerful lyrics in order to find it. Versus Me released their debut single, “(A) Tension” a few weeks ago and it’s a song about everyone. Guitarist and vocalist, Patrick Thompson puts it very succinctly, “It’s simply about…

Since 2010, Escape the Fate have seen some serious changes. From switching labels to the departure of bassist, Max Green, to finally solidifying a new lineup, it has no doubt been a transitional period for the group. Nevertheless, after three long years of Escape the Fate fans starving for a new album, it has arrived…or, rather, has dropped like a musical bomb.
