Real Friends Announce Japanese Tour [UPDATED]

Real Friends will be going to Japan this summer for a quick, six show tour. Kicking off the tour on June 2, the band will travel through Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya and Niigata. Update: The band has announced that they will have support from Speak Low If You Speak Love while on tour in Japan. Speak Low is the indie side project of State Champ‘s Ryan Graham. Avril Lavigne’s “Hello Kitty” music video garnered more attention over the past few days than the pop star has seen in years, reaching over 11 million views this week. It debuted in late April to some harsh criticism from Billboard, which called the dubstep breakdown “so unholy that Keanu Reeves probably battled it in ‘Constantine.’” Harsh, but kind of funny.
