Framework was kind enough to share their top songs to listen to before playing a concert. Whether you’re searching for a few songs to listen to while preparing your band for their next big gig, or just looking to jam out, Framework have you covered. Check it out after the jump, and purchase a CD or buy concert tickets here.
1. Midtown “Find Comfort In Yourself”
I remember the first time I heard this track – I’d just broken up with a girlfriend, and this track changed my mentality from pessimistic to f#!$ you basically – to just let go of feeling sorry and crack on with optimism, getting drunk and having good times with your friends.
2. Brand New “You Won’t Know”
We’re all huge Brand New fans – I’d definitely say this is one of the best songs written in the past 10 years. It’s impossible not to want to go crazy when having the heartfelt vocals screamed by Jesse Lacey into your ears.
3. New Found Glory “Better Off Dead”
Any pop-punk fan will know that this is one of the best album openers by any pop-punk band. The vocal melody is so infectious that you can’t help but sing a long to every word – and the lyrics by Pundik are so relatable – it’s a good song to get fired up to when you’re chugging down some cheap booze.
4. Alkaline Trio “Armageddon”
We’re always spinning the From Here To Infirmary record in the car when we’re on long drives. This song right from the start is hard-hitting, fast paced and raw. We all have a special place for this track.
5. Millencolin “No Cigar”
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 has pretty much the greatest soundtrack of all time – this song reminds me of using Eric Koston on School II trying to get a perfect tre flip down the huge set at the beginning. This song definitely brings me back to my youth, and still to this day – I get the same sick feeling I get out of it that I got the first time I heard it.
