WATCH: Simple Plan Throw it Back to The 60’s With “Singing in the Rain”

Simple-Plan-DLCandian pop punk icons, Simple Plan, came back to shake up the world with the release of their fifth studio album, Taking One For The Team this past February. With the band making a huge comeback, songs like “Nostalgic”and “Boom” became instant favorites amongst long time fans, marking the album a huge success in the legacy of the band.

Now, the guys of Simple Plan bring another video, this time for the song “Singing in the Rain”. This is the fourth video for a song from Taking One For The Team, as previous videos have been made for “Boom”, “Opinion Overload” and “I Don’t Wanna Go To Bed”.

The video for “Singing in the Rain” is presented in a classic vintage 60’s style and is something very unique to see punk rockers dressed up in vintage styles.
But the guys pull it off with a great song to support the video.

Although different from what they presented on the album, Simple Plan’s Pierre Bouvier is always about experimenting with his sound and voice, and I believe this was an interesting choice and change of pace which is needed from time to time.

Check out the video below for “Singing in the Rain” and make sure to purchase Taking One For The Team or any Simple Plan cd here!

Simple Plan are currently heading on tour in May, check out dates and tickets here!
