Kurt Cobain Documentary Will Be Released in Theaters

A little over a week after the release of the first trailer for Cobain: Montage of Heck, a documentary exploring the life of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, it has been announced that in addition to the release of the film via HBO May 4, the film will have a theatrical release starting April 10. Screenings will be taking place in over 70 countries. Kurt Cobain has long been an influential and important figure in the music scene. Still, for all his legacy, there has yet to be official documentaries or other works detailing the Nirvana frontman’s life. Finally, an official documentary has been announced to premiere May 4 on HBO.
